From a Humble Kitchen to a Beloved Institution

In 1951, in the bustling town of Mandapeta in East Godavari district, a passionate sweet maker opened a modest shop on Main Road with a simple belief: that the finest sweets are made with the purest ingredients and the deepest love.

What began as a small family endeavour quickly grew into a beloved institution. The secret? An unwavering commitment to quality and tradition. While the world around us modernised, our kitchen stayed true to the time-tested methods — hand stirring the milk for hours, using only pure cow ghee, and sourcing the best ingredients from local farmers.

Today, Mandapeta Sweet Mart is a name synonymous with celebration across the region. From Sankranti mornings to Diwali evenings, from wedding receptions to simple family get-togethers, our sweets have been part of countless precious memories.

Behind every perfect Pootharekulu and every melt-in-mouth Kaja is our team of dedicated sweet makers — artisans who have spent decades perfecting their craft. Many of them learned the art from their fathers and grandfathers, carrying forward a lineage of sweet-making excellence.

Our head chef has been with MSM since the very beginning. His hands have shaped millions of sweets, each one carrying the same precision and passion as the first. He wakes up before dawn every day, personally overseeing the preparation of each batch.

“The secret is not in any recipe,” he says with a smile. “It’s in the patience. Good sweets cannot be rushed.”

A small sweet shop opens on Main Road, Peddapuram, with a handful of traditional recipes and a dream to bring authentic Andhra sweets to the community.

Growing Reputation

Word spreads across East Godavari district. MSM becomes the go-to shop for wedding sweets and festival celebrations.

Expanded Menu

Introduction of dry fruit sweets, premium gift boxes, and savory snacks to meet growing customer demand.
